Safety Boxes
These tamper-proof boxes hold hard drives, CDs, DVDs, thumb drives, mobile phones & other data bearing storage devices during transportation to our facility for final processing.
Degaussing
IMPORTANT NOTE: Effective only for magnetic drives and tapes. Degaussing does not destroy data on solid-state hard drives.
Data is destroyed using powerful electromagnetic fields. The magnetic charge renders data unrecoverable. Degaussing is quick and easy.
Hard Drive Shredding
Any data-bearing media that our clients do not want to reuse or resell is physically destroyed. Yi-Ke Innovations uses high-capacity shredders to destroy all data-bearing media. Our on-site hard drive shredders destroy the entire hard drive, including platters is shredded into small pieces making it impossible to reconstruct the media or data. Our shred trucks are equipped with shredders to accommodate compliant destruction of backup tapes, magnetic hard drives, and solid-state hard drives.
Incineration
For added assurance, we are the only few service providers that support the incineration of hard drives.

Certificates of Destruction can be provided, regardless of the service provided.
Recycling
Recycled in an environmentally responsible manner, compliant with all legal regulations for recycling e-waste. Certified e-waste recycling centres, with no export mandates, reinforce our closed-loop approach to responsible recycling of e-waste. We provide transparency in tracking, recycling and how hazardous materials are disposed of.
Secure Chain-of-custody
For data bearing assets, equipment is moved from the client location to our processing facilities using in-house logistics, truck seals and sealed lockboxes with remote tracking.

Secure Recycling Facilities
Our guarded recycling processing facilities are access controlled and monitored, ensuring maximum protection of your sensitive data prior to destruction. All products are stored and secured until processing begins. Security measures implemented include physical barriers, intrusion alarm systems, surveillance systems, limited access and locked areas, strict visitor controls, secured storage, 24/7 security guards, metal detectors, strategic lighting, and alarmed peripheral exits.
